Taking cues from both physical and online advertising, the four chapters of this exhibition, each lasting roughly 10 days, will display: a pairing of a figure with a text graphic; a short story and an ornate assemblage of recast ashtrays.

I recently read:
“inversion is entangled with masochism because perversion is inevitably entangled with neurosis” ¹  
it felt old
it was old
yet the next thing I stumbled on was a promo for a band called: Viagra Boys

I read that inversion is:
a way out that the child discovers
when they are about to suffocate. ²

I feel a psychedelic non-reality of self in our present condition.
I feel to tell the young monster: there is nothing.

ash collectors
memento mori
stasis non-stop

& that’s fine
for me,
for now.
