.“.. zur Illustration dieser Idee malten Veli&Amos das Billboard zu einer 1000er Note, aufgeblasen auf die Grösse des Billboards. In violetten Farbtönen prangten nun das Abbild Jacob Burckhardts und die Zahl 1000 über der Langstrasse. 1000 Schweizer Franken, so viel kostete die von Veli&Amos in Handarbeit gemalte Werbung auf dem Billboard für die Dauer einer Woche. Doch das Billboard sollte auch eine offene Plattform sein: Wer immer wollte, konnte diese Werbefläche für 100 Franken pro Tag mieten und sie selber bemalen…“

Jacob Burckhardt’s profile and the number 1000 were now proudly displayed over Langstrasse in shiny shades of violet: 1000 Swiss francs was the cost of running an ad handpainted by Veli&Amos on the billboard for a week. But it was to remain an open platform: anyone could rent the billboard for 100 francs a day and paint it themselves.”
