Hit est un espace d’art créé en septembre 2013 par l’artiste Anne Minazio dans son ancien atelier. Diplômée de la HEAD, elle peint jusqu’alors de manière confidentielle. À l’ouverture de Hit, son travail d’artiste se déploie à travers la curation, l’édition, la création de céramiques et l’organisation de repas. Pavel Sofer accompagne Anne Minazio dans son projet. Spécialiste en design et architecture, il collabore aux projets d’aménagement de Hit avec les artistes, designers ou architectes invités. Hit a fonctionné en auto-financement les deux premières années de son existence.

HIT présente principalement des artistes suisses émergents et leur donne la possibilité de réaliser une première exposition.

HIT propose un programme ouvert aux disciplines du design, de l’architecture, du design mode, sollicitant le décloisonnement de l’art.

HIT offre trois espaces aux artistes pour s’exprimer : le lieu d’exposition, le journal annuel et les céramiques.

HIT développe une réflexion sur la convivialité dans l’espace d’art en organisant régulièrement des repas pour les finissages d’exposition ou comme proposition artistique à part entière.

HIT crée des céramiques qui tiennent lieu d’archivage et sont devenues un espace sur lequel les artistes sont invités à intervenir. Ces céramiques sont utilisées pour les repas.

HIT publie un journal annuel qui archive les expositions et événements de l’espace. D’autres artistes, architectes, designers mode ou designers sont invités à présenter leur travail ou une proposition inédite.

HIT ambitionne une visibilité internationale en présentant annuellement son journal à New York et en y organisant des expositions d’artistes suisses émergents à la Lubov Gallery NYC.

Hit is an art space founded in September 2013 by artist Anne Minazio in her former studio. Graduated from HEAD, she had been painting in a confidential way up until then. At Hit’s opening, her artistic work expanded to include curating, publishing, creating ceramics and organizing meals. Pavel Sofer supports Anne Minazio in her project. Specialist in design and architecture, he collaborates with guest artists, designers or architects to develop Hit’s projects. Hit has operated on a self-funding basis for the first two years of its existence.

HIT showcases mainly emerging Swiss artists and gives them the opportunity to hold their first exhibition.

HIT elaborates a program that is open to the fields of design, architecture, fashion design, and that seeks the decompartmentalization of art.

HIT offers three spaces for artists to express themselves: the exhibition space, the annual publication and the ceramics.

HIT develops a reflexion around the notion of conviviality in the artspace by regularly organizing dinners for the closing events of exhibitions or as full artistic propositions.

HIT creates ceramic works that serve as archival space and have become a space on which artists are invited to work. These ceramics are used during the dinners.

HIT issues a yearly publication that archives the events and exhibitions that have taken place over the past year. Other artists, architects, fashion designers and designers are invited to present their work or to submit new work.

HIT aims to achieve international visibility by presenting its journal annually in New York and by organizing exhibitions of emerging Swiss artists at Lubov Gallery, NYC.
